The Grosvenor Hotel is over 100 years old. It was built by TOOTHS & CO. who built many of Sydney�s landmark Hotels. Originally owned by Tooths brewery and leased until the early 80�s, when the leassee brought the Freehold from the brewery. Many of Sydney�s hotels share this history. Since that purchase in the 80�s The Freehold and license has changed several times with Coughlan & Kelly being the third owners.

Over the years the Grosvenor has seen many changes and been host to some of Sydney�s more colorful characters. The Grosvenor was a well known �settle up� venue for some of Sydney�s biggest SP bookmakers in the late 70�s. The Memorabilia on the walls are worth a look. Including original photos of the Grosvenor circa 1940, 1950 and 1960, and some of South Sydnet's greatest. Two such photos includes the legend Bob McCarthy and Craig "Tugger" Coleman.
